Psytron (6646) - Turku, FINLAND - SEP 3, 2019UPDATED: SEP 3, 2019 Smell of grass, some mandarin, hops. Golden colour, high white head. Aroma of hops, grass, some citrus, malty finish. Flat carbon. Mildly bitter. Resembles a pale ale.
nathanvc (5887) - Gent, BELGIUM - DEC 17, 2018UPDATED: DEC 17, 2018 Bottle brought back from Denmark, many thanks to Maarten! 6 December 2018. Best before: 14/11/18.
Pours clear orange with a quickly thinning, off-white head. Aroma of cheese, old bread, rather dank, ripe apple & orange, bordering on mouldy, mango, lime juice, onions. Taste is light fruity sweet, hints of overripe orange & apple, faintly estery too; light to medium hoppy bitter with grassy notes, some mango & orange rind, but dominated by a dank bready, yeasty & cheesy overtone. Dry, yeasty, grassy hoppy finish, lingering bitter fruit peel. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Okay, it was expired, but something more agreeable should have remained...
Casper0904 (709) - DENMARK - AUG 3, 2017To much english bitterness in this one for me. Fine body and tatse of hops.
drfabulous (15548) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUL 17, 2017Bottle shared with my wife at Juicy. About what I expected. Fairly bland like a bad American lager.
johnnyguitar (2) - København N, DENMARK - JUN 4, 2017 does not count I’ve tasted many IPA’s and this one from Herslev ranks among the best. It has a nice balance and a rich taste and on top it is ecological and that it not always a plus for the taste... a good example is another IPA from the another Danish brewery called Ørbæk Bryggeri and that isn’t anywhere near as good as this India Pale Ale from Herslev.
Phagelund (170) - DENMARK - APR 27, 2017Dark golden colour with white foam. Aroma of malt and hops. The taste is dry hops not more.
zenkis (1080) - Ogre, LATVIA - MAR 29, 2017For 6 euro bottle it was like paying inadequate sum for something that tastes like unmatured homebrew without much flavor nor aroma. A bit green, grassy notes on nose. Mashy, slightly roasted malty flavor, light bitterness. No more. Got in to my glass almost without foam, weak carbonation. Medium to light body.
tbonde (404) - DENMARK - MAR 10, 201750 cl. mug from draught@Dyrehaven Cafe@approx. 7 degrees C. Pours almost clear reddish golden with a small off white head. Aroma is of caramel and fruity citrussy hops. Appears well balanced. Taste also well balanced, a little on the sweet, malty side, but with the hoppy bitterness certainly also present. Long, hoppy bitter aftertaste, but not overly so. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. One of the "warmer" IPAs - not extreme, but pleasant and tasty though a bit on the heavy side.
McWorta (1632) - LUXEMBOURG - FEB 7, 2017Clear golden with a fine poring small white head. Aromas of mango and passion fruit with some light grapefruit and pine note develops offering a light hint of straw and bright toast. Fine carbonation, medium bodied offering a light brisk sweetness upfront and a hopp bitterness bite. Medium dry finish.
