UPDATED: APR 2, 2023 'Göller Pilsner', Neuverkostung nach 9 Jahren, direkt aus dem Lagertank gezapft in der Brauereigaststätte in Zeil. - Im Antrunk schlank aber tief hellmalzig mit feiner Vanillesüße und einem Hauch von Honig. Aromatisch grasige, leicht trockene Hopfung. Milder rezent, eher vollmundig als schlank, enorm frisch. Im Abgang gediegen herbale aber nur dezent bittere Hopfenherbe mit Anklängen an Zitronenschale. - Klassisch und doch individuell gehopftes Pilsener, des süddeutschen Typs, sauber malzig und sehr aromatisch gehopft aber nicht zu bitter, mit perfektem Trinkwiderstand. Mit dem 'Göller Pilsner', das ich 2014 im Klosterhof, Ebelsbach, getrunken habe, hat dieses Bier kaum noch Ähnlichkeit. (Neubewertung: 26.3.2023.)

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2021 Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a generous foamy white head. Nose - light bread and caramel, then bitter herb. Taste - lemon, bitter endive and light bready note. Palate - light bodied, bitter finish. Overall - good example of the style.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2019 From the lagering tank at the brewery. Crisp malt nose, biscuits, herbal hops. Very hoppy flavor, spices, citrus fruit, snappy malt. Wonderful, crisp pilsner with a bit bitter finish. Fantastic.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2019 From the lager tank at the Keller in zeil main. served in stone krug. so fresh it's untrue. and the bitter finish goes on and on. so good so fresh. I nailed it. really good herb fresh. could drink this all day.

0,5 l Flasche. Aroma: süßlich, malzig. Erscheinung: Goldgelbes Bier, weißer, flacher Schaum. Geschmack: süßlich, malzig, kaum bitter. Nachgeschmack: süßlich. Gesamt: süffig, aber nichts besonderes.

Pale golden in color with a whitish head. Grassy bitterness, hay and biscuit in aroma. Some sweetness too. Grainy notes with some bitter and sweet notes too. Quite crisp though.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - pours gold with a white head. Aroma and taste is grassy and grainy, lemon, straw, hay, crisp and light on the palate, medium to light in body, with a clean crisp finish. Decent.

Smallish creamy white head. Clear yellow body with light carbonation. Grainy minty aroma with hay notes. Dry-sweet dusty hay taste with grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish dusty hay aftertaste with freshly cut wood notes. Very nice and highly drinkable. (0.5l draft at Taphouse, Copenhagen.)

Keg at gbbf 2015 day 4. Light bready grains, floral notes, on the nose. Light yellow clear coloured pour with a fine white head. Flavour is composed of light grains, nice juicy floral hop. Palate is light and refreshing with moderate carbonation.
