Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A hazy golden beer with a small head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by straw. The flavor is sweet matly again dominated by straw, leading to a dry hay finish.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007
Blond color. Delicate hoppy aroma (Saaz), very light bread too. A bit more sweetness and less crispy than an original Pilsner, but quite well hopped, and the Saaz leaves some traces all along the final. Good.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear golden, minimal head. Aroma of hay and butter. Medium sweet with clean malt profile. Lots of oily, flowery Czech style hops and diacetyl, lingering bitterness.

Draught@SBWF2007. Golden colour with white mediumsized head. Aroma is hay, saltwater, some hints of toffee and hops. Flavour is grass, hay, and some bready notes. Some rather salty hoppyness also. Still good balance.

Not a bad tasting pilsner but not enough going on to make it interesting. Ireland doesn’t produce many exciting lagers and here is another run of the mill example. Why bother?

Pours sort of a golden orange color. Aroma is simply hops, and the taste is the same with fruit and malt characteristics as well. Pretty good.
