COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Demus favorem amori - ‘we choose to stand for love’. DFA, a surprising blend of flavours marrying mango, Vietnamese mint, lime and chilli with the high citrus hit of Centennial, Amarillo and Citra hops. The result is a deliciously intense tryst of bitter-sweet heat, tropical fruit and citrus hop character, coming together to create a beer of rich, satisfying balance. Life is all about choices. kata.u (144) - Nagoya, JAPAN - SEP 15, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 15, 2021 Tap. Full of hops, tropical fruits, pineapple aroma. Refreshing mild bitterness with creamy mouthfeel. Expected more chili and spices flavor.

mountdad (962) - Mount Maunganui, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 10, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2021 330ml can. Pours a deep clear amber with a short lived but medium sized white head. Aroma is heavy hops & a bit of tropical. Beer is medium bodied. Taste is well integrated and mostly a medium bitter IPA. I can't pick the chilli or lime & as someone who is very much at the mild end of any spice menu, I really can't get any chilli. For me, a few too many flavours on top of a heavy IPA mean you just end up with a fairly normal bitter IPA. Disappointing.

Svesse (14279) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUN 8, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 8, 2020 (Can) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with big frothy off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grapefruit, mango, caramel, tropical fruit, passion-fruit, gooseberries, toffee and floral hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with pink grapefruit, mango, pine needles, passion-fruit, caramel and a generous citric, piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Solid and well made IPA, with a generous hop presence. Very nice.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2020 650 mL bottle from New World. This is... Subtle, but also complex. Pours a red gold, little or no head, lively carbonation. Very refreshing. Honestly I'm not getting the chili, or lime, or mango, but there is a little spicy aftertaste. Appearance is a lot like PW, but nowhere near as bitter. Poured from the fridge, and improves as it warms up a bit. Unique, interesting, may need to try again to learn more.

ElDesmadre (6867) - Jaworze, POLAND - MAR 22, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2020 Bottle. Toasted malts, fresh plums, lychee, mango, light lime, sweet chili sauce, subtle mint. Chewy and crisp, with an amazingly harmonic interplay between the malts, the hops and the added spices. Not overbearing at all but intense at the same time. Complex and well crafted. Awesome stuff.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2020 Such an impressive flavour. it belongs behind a mahogany desk, with well stocked bookshelves behind it. Honestly, I’d trust it to prepare my will.
