Volle body. Veel fruitsmaak. Moeilijk te bepalen. Maar zeer lekker. Voor herhaling vatbaar
Patersoi (454) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 1, 2023UPDATED: SEP 1, 2023 Pours ruby copper with fluffy head. Classic bouquet. Weirdly a fruity taste along with some hop bitterness. A touch thin for the rated alcohol. Except a fruity slightly gluggy aftertaste
wlajwl (12605) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUN 27, 2023UPDATED: JUN 27, 2023 Aroma is big caramel, Belgian yeast and a hint of alcohol. The flavor is fruit, malts, lemon/fruit and a big caramel/Belgian yeast/spicy/slightly warming alcoholic finish.
L.Kehrseit (142) - GERMANY - MAY 26, 2023UPDATED: MAY 26, 2023 Feinporige Schaumkrone eines dunkelorangenen trüben Tripels.
hjerteknut (46) - - APR 28, 2023UPDATED: APR 28, 2023 Something inbetween pale lager and triple.
Lovely yellow color, transparent. Plenty of particles floating around, but it is un-pasteurized, so no surprises there. Dissappointing carbonation. Fantastic head, thick and bright white.
Sweet smell of banana, yeast, grains.
Aromas of banana straight away, lovely fruitiness.
Lovely citrusy freshness, well-balanced bitterness, though frankly I find it a tad too balanced. A slightly stronger bitterness would have given it some character, some personality. Medium-bodied, mellow alcohol, very easy to drink!
Aftertaste is respectable, pleasant.
All in all a perfectly decent triple. Somewhat anonymous, which is why my rating isn’t higher. The sweetness is the stronger out of all the flavors, unfortunately. A more powerful tasting experience, with a stronger bitterness, would have helped this one along. Pleasant though, goes well with any savory food, perfect with meat dishes.
dunklermessias (3039) - GERMANY - APR 11, 2023UPDATED: APR 11, 2023 Thx to JefV for this bottle. Cloudy, amber color and a huge white head. Yeasty, esters, unripe grapes in the nose. Taste is malty ,yeasty , herbal with a nice bitterness.
Maris (3387) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAR 22, 2023UPDATED: MAR 22, 2023 From a 330ml bottle on 22/3/2023. Pours a clearish golden with a biggish head. Smells fruit, phenolic and spicy. Very bold on the sip and not as sweet as most triples, with lots of citrus and candied fruit, hints of caramel and lots of spice and that typical Belgian yeast, finishing quite bitter with a hint of sour lemon at the back. Slick palate with lively carbonation. Interesting and different, if not the best triple I've had.
