UPDATED: APR 27, 2019 Taste: floral herbal, spiced gentle hops, bread malt notes. Same with the nose. Copper color hue, clear, tall foamy head with rings of lace on the glass. Medium/full body. Balanced and easy to drink IPA.

11/11/18. On tap at the brewery. Dark orange pour with a small khaki head, good lacing. Definitely old school here... floral aroma, earthy, tea, a touch of citrus. Sweet entry, malty, doughy, caramel, some citrus, floral, earth. Not made poorly, just definitely not my cup of tea. Old school. Meh.

muzzlehatch (4975) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 11, 2016
Draught sample at the brewpub, July 26th. Medium oily-translucent amber, just a little head retention...sweet honey and more than a bit of alcohol in the nose, a bit of pine and rosemary/tarragon spiciness...body is mostly sweet, only lightly to moderately hoppy/bitter, thick and rather syrupy, with a finishing harshness that is both hoppy (good) and cardboard & burnt (not so hot). Meh, just passable really. I don’t think I could have drunk a full glass of this.

On tap at the source - enjoying ck1’s birthday. Pours a yellowish-orange with little head. Some lacing. Aroma has fruit and simple sugar and light citrus. Taste is fruity, citrus, some biscuity malts, some sugar. ck1 identifies the Golding Kent hops. Medium bodied with a bit of an alcohol presence. Finishes to the sweet side of bittersweet. Shrug? Old keg?? Hope to get back to retry. Having a taste of the ipa - it was better, so would hope the base would generally translate.
