UPDATED: NOV 27, 2022 Murky yellow body with thick white head. Zesty lime, orange, lychee. Long lasting bitterness from the massive hops.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2020 Revising this after a year and I remember how good it was... and how good it still is! Pours hazy orange, a finger of white frothy head with a food retention and pretty lacing. A lot of hoppy fruits on the nose: mango, lychees, melon, white grapes, orange... Taste has nearly no bitterness but not an overwhelming sweetness either. Fruity hops keep it moderate without reaching the 'juice' status, and there are some dank notes as well. Medium bodied, medium carbonation and super well hidden booze. Long finish, with some lemon zest.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2020 Pours hazy opaque orange, proper juicy. Orange rind on the nose. On the palette a complex and full bodied beast. Juicy and creamy. There’s orange in there with some floral notes as well, with a balanced grapefruit bitterness at the end. Each sip seems to give me different flavours. Beautifully balanced and a little hard to describe.

HKdIPA (1437) - HONG KONG - SEP 5, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2020 Tall can from Brewcraft at home. Hazy opaque peach pour with thin fine white head. Aroma is amazing - fruit salad with fuzzy peach, zesty lime, tart kiwi. Taste is big pithy bitterness up front followed by juicy citrus peach, and a boozy sweet finish. Palate is fuzzy carbonation with delicious smoothness. Long pithy bitterness. Fantastic. Try this if you see it.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2020 Tall can from Brewcraft. Drank w M after Joce’s baby shower for the twins. Pours a hazy bright opaque marigold-orange-beige with a fine foamy white head and spotty legs. Aroma: hazy faint fruit, mango and orange, lots of smooth woody stony hop, bitter and creamy and big. Very fresh. Taste: mango, woody, bitter and slightly stony, smooth. Body: smooth/creamy, some bouncy chewiness , some tartness and sharpness, quite stony and bitter. Great palate. DELICIOUS.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2020 You can't help but feel they could knock 1-2% ABV off this and achieve the same aim. The alcohol taste does come through -- at least until it punches your brain into submission. Also a tad sweet. Nice, just not $15 a can nice.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2019 Can - humongous from go to whoa - massive tropical fruit salad aroma mirrored on the palate - fairly solid malt backbone which works but makes it a tad sweet... but a tad only - very rich flavour... for a NEIPA, this is full bodied which makes it too much to drink more than a couple - another GP ripper - must try this side-by-side with Hop Nation Dreamfeed which is my current benchmark NEIPA.

UPDATED: NOV 2, 2019 Pours from the can a murky, viscous amber with a finely beaded white head that leaves delicate lace on the glass. Mango, paw paw, pineapple, citrus abound and are balanced with a dank, spicy hop note that underpins the aroma. Mouthfeel is silky and fulsome with a slight oiliness. Solid, chewy hop bitterness restrains the explosion of sweet tropical flavours. This is an impressive drop.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2019 From a 440ml can on 28/10/2019. Pours a murky deep golden with a big head. Has a powerful zesty citrus and tropical fruit nose. Tastes of pineapple, mango, papaya and orange, with a medium zesty, citric finish hop finish. The mouthfeel is super creamy with moderate carbonation. Holy crap this is good. Luxurious, delicious and smashable, with extraordinary balance. Goes down ridiculously easy for 8.5%. Absolutely outstanding. Approaching perfection in fact. The best hazy I've had to date, and one of the best beers I've had period.

drjoeng (2423) - SINGAPORE - JUL 7, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2019 8.8%ABV. Oatmeal IPA. Tapped out cloudy gold . 10°SRM. Nose has aromas of pleasing tropical fruit aromas referencing pineapple, guava, and mango. There are hints of fresh pine and spruce. Overall the nose gives the impression of juicy fullness. Mouthfeel is juicy and creamy and reminiscent of a fruit smoothie, milkshake, or yogurt drink. Palate has flavors of sweet cut cold fruit, cold cereal, oatmeal. The palate is pretty sweet overall, and gives the impression of being slightly less attenuated, with plenty of grainy character giving the ale its juicy body. Hop flavors support the impression of juiciness with mango rind, pulped guava, kaffir lime leaf, lime zest, and pineapple hearts. There are flavors that are best described as sappy, leafy, light resin, and suggesting pine needles and spruce tips. Finish is medium with a creamy sweet bitter. The sweetness is nectary without being obviously cloying, but this is on my palate. American Pale Ale and those who appreciate a more well-attenuated beer will find this finish a little heavy and sticky. Overall, a very very pleasant and satisfyingly complete IPA experience but with a nicely rounded, sweet, creamy mouthfeel courtesy of all that oatmeal. Really well-provisioned ale with a solid malt backbone balancing bright fruity hop aromas with sappy bitter flavors.
