UPDATED: FEB 25, 2024 Maybe the least enjoyable Nigori I have ever had. This one was cloudy, but not nearly creamy enough.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2024 Cloudy opaque white with flecks of sediment around the glass. Smell is fresh and creamy with a subtle vague tree fruity note. Full firm flavor that’s lightly boozy with a clean boozy burn, semisweet grain, just a whisper of melon fruit.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2023 180ml aluminum cup can from Cost Plus. Shaken. Baby Duval glass @home. Fat-free almond milk pour. Green banana, heavy marzipan, rice pudding with clove, vodka. Boozy rice pudding. Bittersweet, leaning bitter. Fruity non-descript berry sharpness, white rum, banana ice cream, strong vanilla extract. Veggie, moderately tannic finish. Medium high acid. Creamy-thin, big belly burn. Kinda good if a little rough.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2022 Pours a milky white with an aroma of rice, melon, and alcohol. The flavor is lightly sweet. There’s rice, melon, and v booze though the latter isn’t overly strong. I think it’s not quite as smooth as some sakis of this style, but I’ve had so few and so infrequently it’s hard to compare.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2021 300mL bottle served in a tumbler- poured a creamy non transparent milky color, aroma of plums, bubblegum, and bootleg hooch. Hits the mouth with a light body, has a light feel on the tongue, a rock fruit sensation in the middle but the alcohol comes crashing through the door and takes no prisoners. Umm- ok? From Twin Liquor 620.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2021 Flight pour at Ten. Murky white. Nose is sweet rice, light florals. Sweet floral, rice, light vanilla, light booze, coconut. Smooth and nice.

UPDATED: APR 18, 2021 Creamy white body. Fruity rice aroma. Fruity rice melon flavor. Medium body no carb.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2020 Pours milky white color. Aromas of pears and some coconut. Similar flavors with some alcohol. Medium to full body with creamy mouthfeel.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2020 Pours a cloudy milky white from a bottle. Aroma of banana and melon, flavor of banana and lychee. Hides alcohol well. Pretty good sake.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2020 Bottle from Total Wine in Lexington. A pretty cloudy pour that settles. Light in body for ABV. Melon and maybe some cucumber. Nice.
