Cask at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A brown beer with a red shine under a brown head. The aroma is sweet and very smoked. The flavor is sweet malty and very nicely smoked, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Cask @ Easter Beer Festival, Franciscan Well. Pours black with a decent sized head. Big smokey, roasted malt aroma. Initially dry and quite mild with some roasted features, the peat smoke flavour gains in strength towards the finish, and lingers long. Medium body. Very nice.

Almost black color; creamy head. Very nice aroma, delicate, smoked malt first, also chocolate malt and salami. Smooth mouthfeel, excellent mix of many flavors among which caramel, roasted malt, smoke, some sweetness, salami. Medium-low bitterness. The final is not too bitter, a bit sweet indeed, with light chocolate and some sweet smoked malt. Excellent!

Sampled at SBWF, 2007. Almost black with a creamy head. Really smoked flavour. Full, smoked and malty flavour with a lot of tar. Pretty sweet and somewhat thin.

(Cask at Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2007) Black colour with brownish hints, frothy pale brown head. Malty, smokey nose with tar and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of smoke, smoked ham, coffee and chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel, nice balance despite the fairly high abv and all the smoke. Very nice!

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Cask. Black. Brown foamy head. A lot of smoke and tar in the aroma. Flavor brings tar, coffe and malt. It´s roand and pleasent. The malt is so smoth and in perfect balance in this brew.

Cask at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. Black color with creamy head. Heavy smoky, peaty and leathery aroma. Heavily peated and strongly roasted flavor with leathery and nutty notes. Strong peaty and bitter finish.
