Tap @ Pivovarsky Klub. Pours dark brown nealy black with a creamy lasting head and lacings. Sweet and vaguely roasted nose. Lots of grain and roast. Smooth and filling. Caramel, honey and a whiff of alcohol. Good.

Almost black with a very small beige head that dissipates quickly leaving basically no lacings. Mostly roasted and sweet malts and molasses in the nose. Some dark fruits and faint hop aromas. A very sweet taste with lots of sweet malts and molasses. Some flavors of dried fruits and plums, raisins, wood, faint hop flavors and very faint note of soy sauce. The finish is short and quite anonymous with a mild bitterness and some notes of spices and sweet malts. It’s actually quite full-bodied and smooth. Somewhat chewy texture. Mild carbonation. A decent porter, slightly too much emphasis on the sweet flavors. Got quite boring after a while. But still fairly drinkable. Serving type: bottle (Copy of old Beer Advocate review)

From keg in Praha. Beige cream head. Opaque, near black body. Sweet and roasted malt aroma with raisins, prunes and dark bread. Sweet dark bread is dominating the flavor as well. A caramel note and suggestions of dark dried fruits. Hops not included. Alcohol well masked. Thick mouthfeel. Almost full-bodied. Sweet malty ending. OK beer, a tad too sweet for my likings, though.

Deep ruby brown, black color with creamy brown head with nice lacing. Distinct sweet roasted malts, plums, dark grapes in the aroma. Roasted grainy flavors with dark fruits and roasted cocoa beans in the background. It has some kind of smoked edge to it as well. A little bit unbalanced, typical Eastern European kind of brew, but still very tasteful and robust one.
