UPDATED: FEB 12, 2021 Pours black with a huge beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee notes and a hint of dark fruit. Sweet taste that ends up dry an a little bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and average carbonated. A nice stout. 🌟🌟🌟⭐️

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2019 Copenhagen 16/2 2019. 65 cl bottle from Vinbørsen, Kbh Ø. Apparantly this version has an ABV of 5. Red version of Moylans intricate design. Show off with a lot of medals from World Beer Championship, North American Beer Awards and California State Fair. Little map as well so I can find the brewpub if I happen to drop by California. Pours opaque dark brown with small but dense beige head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing. Aroma is intense, sweet and roasted. Sweet chocolate, coffee, lightly roasted dark malts. Light carbonation and surprisingly thin texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by strong dry bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Finish is dry. A bit thin for a stout but works as a fairly light

On tap at First Draft Taproom & Kitchen. Black appearance with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and bitter chocolate. Similar flavor, roasty and malty with a smooth bittersweet balance. Medium body with a lingering roasty/cocoa finish. Good.
