Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Aroma is sweet, fermented apples, perhaps even rotten? Taste follows along the same lines, slight funk and barnyard. Not too pleasant.

Fresh apples, white wine notes, almost no sulphuric notes in there. Appearance is pale yellow. Taste is subtle sour, semi-dry with nice applelike aftertaste. Very good cider.

Bottle. Golden-yellow colour with some white bubbles. Aroma is apple, sourness. Flavour is apple, sourness, pear, grass. OK cider.

ClubGonzo (5677) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 7, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear near-water-hued pale yellow body with no head and a moderate amount of bubbles, looking almost like a sake or something. Aroma is yellow apple peel, strawberries, mild citric tones and hints of straw. Taste is sweet apple peel tones, apple juice, straw and hints of tart berries in the back. Light body, medium carbonation. Fairly straightforward drinkable cider with little complexity and a sweet/tartness-integration that seems a bit off, somehow. Fair enough, but no winner.

Bottle. Some bubbles on top of an almost clear pale golden body. Ripe apples, apple cores and orchard, with a touch of grass and canned pears. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Slightly sourish flavor with green apples, some pear and grass. Hints of sulphur. Lasting finish with lots of apples. Quite decent this one, except for the sulphur. 140724
