Some malt aroma reddish brown pour. Malty no bad stuff like acidic or tartness. Pretty drinkable but mild in flavor compared to better str No ales. But ok.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours unclear dark red with a huge frothy white hed with a pink hue. Aroma is fruity, malts and weak hops, inviting and nice aroma. Taste is complex , crisp dry fruity with lots of wooden bitterness, lively and creamy mouthfeel. High carbonated. Complex and moreish beer.

"this is one of the better ambers out there simply for the fact it is a little more flavorful and robust in character than most. it has nice caramel maltiness, but the hops are assertive as well, finding a nice balance."

Benzai (20020) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2014
Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. A bit unclear red color, huge off-white head that lasts forever and leaves good lacing. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly fruity. Taste malts, hops, lightly fruity, moderately bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Well, decent, but I expected more. Good beer, but my expectations were higher since I’ve had so many incredible beers from this brewery. On the other hand, not all beers can be a 4+ right? And wtf am I complaining about with a 3.9 score!

Bottle @ benzai. Dark amber colour with a huge off-white head that lasts long. Smells malts, hops, fresh, marijuana, wort. Tastes sweet, hops, barley wine, hint of chocolate, wort, hay. Bizarre beer. Medium to full body, soft to medium carbo. Nice beer.

Bottle. Deep red pour with a small white head. Sweet malts, grassy hops and a little spice present in the snout. Similarly sweet flavour with caramalts leading the charge backed up with some decent hoppage and pleasant fruitiness. Very tidy balance struck .Dry bitter finish. Yet to have a bad one from this crew.

Amber coloured and hazy. Has an off-white head, lasting. Sweet aroma, fruits and herbs. Flavor starts sweet, light port, bitter finish. Perhaps grape-fruit.
