Taste follows, moderately bitter from the roast and hops, moderately sweet from the malt, booze well hidden. A solid stout in the cold of Oregon winter.

Aromas of roasted malt, bakers cocoa, earthiness and a hint of coffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, bakers cocoa and light earthiness with a smooth dry lingering bakers cocoa finish.
