COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn’t believe that, it’s the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the ’800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2023 0,75l bottle from Baladin Rome, shared @ home. Pours clear amber with a low head. Aroma is sweet malts with caramel. Flavor is sweet malts, caramel, some alcohol, some hops. Decent.

La schiuma scompare subito.
È dolce e con note di caramello, frutta secca.
È un po' piatta per essere una belgian strong ale da 8 gradi.

UPDATED: FEB 29, 2020 Is an interesting combination of aroma and flavor. The taste of beer a rich, complex, well balanced, with sweet notes of fruit, dried fruit, candy, hints of spices, attractive hop bitterness.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2019 0,75l bottle. Pours near clear deep amber with minimal off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, quite fruity in the sense of dried fruits, toffee. Taste is sweet, malt, toffee, dried fruits, toffee, dark fruits. Not overly carbonated. Pretty good, but inferior to something like Chimay.
