Delicioso y complejo aroma a malta tostada, ciruelas maduras, pasas, chocolate, vainilla, pan de centeno, plátano, caramelo, especias... En boca es sedosa, cálida, compleja, primer trago dulce con notas de malta tostada, frutos secos, fruta madura madura, pan negro, banana...el final es ligeramente amargo, seco, con notas de cacao y especias. Definitivamente una Belgian Dark Strong de alta calidad. Buenísima y deliciosa

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2024 19/2/2024. Bottle from Left Field Beer. Gusher. Pours slightly hazy chestnut brown with a modest short lasting creamy off-white to beige head. Aroma is malty, caramel, bready, dried fruits, brown sugar, yeast, touch of spice. Quite sweet initially, some bitterness develops, becoming well balanced. Medium to full bodied, smooth, light prickly carbonation. Aside from the theatrics on opening, this was enjoyable.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2023 Belgian Strong Ale dal colore marrone scuro, con schiuma color nocciola, ricca, persistente e cremosa. Intensa ed avvolgente nei sentori, al naso si percepiscono aromi fruttati, di malto tostato e lievito, con sfumature dolciastre (caramello e zucchero candito). Inizialmente spiccano la frutta matura e la frutta secca insieme a scorza d’arancia, liquirizia, cioccolato e note speziate. Al palato si ritrovano i sentori olfattivi, con in risalto note di caramello, melassa e malto tostato. Le note luppolate sono percepite delicatamente nel finale.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2022 Thought I had rated this beer before, not the case. I now have a 330 ml bottle from Belgian’s Finest Beers ready to open and pour. The tulip glass receives a liquid that is a dark cola color with a swell, creamy head of a quite light, tan head that is repeatedly recharged. I smell cherries, dark fruit and dark bread. I lift the glass for a drink, raisins, grain, yeast, malt, plums and fruit cake. A nice dark Belgian ale in the middle of the summer.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2022 Mørkebrun brun med lyse brunt skum. Ikke meget karbonering men står flot. Dufter af malt sødme, rosin og tørret frugt. Smagen er ligedan med lidt bitterhed til at balancerer det hele. Fantastisk god øl med fin balance.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2022 Bottle. Deep brown with a beige head that's soon less than a coat. Aroma of strong bread, dried and stewed fruit, hints of spices. Deeper flavours upon a taste - rich and sweet with bread, chocolate, fruit, spices and enough bitterness to keep things in check. A little warmth too.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2022 Sensory Session #46: clear, brownish-ruby color and an off-white head. Nose is malty, caramel, sugar almonds and slightly honey. Taste of dark and dried fruits, herbal, raisins and Orange-zest. Rather short, bitter-hoppy finish
