UPDATED: NOV 11, 2023 A dark orange beer, a head is medium and light beige. Aroma has pine, wood, some citrus and caramel. Taste has pine and wood, medium bitterness. Harsh.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2022 Great foam. Nose. Fruity hops (Pineapple, Grapefruit), caramel, malt. Taste. Firm body, malt, fruits (Grapefruit), hops, moderate sweetness. Excellent balanced taste. There is a strong lingering bitterness in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2022 12 ounce can from Total Wine Santa Fe, 1/24/22. One of the most common beers I haven’t ticked. Cool. Hazy orange, large rocky tan head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel malt. Taste is dank, resin, grapefruit, pale malt. Lingering bitterness. A bit off balance. Okay. Am I missing something?

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2021 35cl Blik van De Laat. Amber kleur, vuilwitte romige kraag. Heerlijk hoppig, citrus en dennen, hars, licht bloemig, niet supermoutig en zoet zoals andere oldskool exemplaren soms zijn, wat caramel, fors bitter, heerlijke trip down memory lane dit. IPA zoals hij hoort te zijn.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2021 So hoppy. Like a pinecone developed dexterity and started skanking around the top of my tongue. Not much head from the can. It’s as bitter as your uncle but much more interesting and certainly more palatable. One Step Beyond, is this one.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2021 0,355 l can from Systembolaget Haninge. Very tasty and refreshing IPA, suits well.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2021 Can 355ml. Clear copper-coloured. Light-beige head. Pleasant mouthfeel, sticky and soft carbonation. Citrusy and resinous with a well balanced maltiness. Rather bitter and longlasting finish. Apparently I haven’t had this in quite a while - not since joining RB anyway. Some summers ago, this was my go-to IPA.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2021 Robe blonde/ambrée limpide, petite mousse blanche qui disparait vite. Nez résineux, agrume avec une belle présence de la base maltée caramel. En bouche, belle amertume, résine, pamplemousse, gazon qui vient d'être tondu, toujours la présence de la base maltée caramel. Corps moyen, belle longueur sur l'amertume, bonne carbo. Jolie IPA bien old school avec des houblons plutôt verts, sympa !
