I brewed my first beer fully hopped with hops grown in the garden. Cascade leaf hops in Ontario.
10 lbs, 3 oz Pale Malt 9.6 Oz Crystal (60L) 1.5 Oz Cascade Leaf Hops (90 min boil) 1.0 Oz Cascade Leaf Hops (15 Min boil) 1.0 oz Cascade Leaf Hops (5 Min boil) 1 pkg Wyeast ESB 1968
Infusion Mash Step 1 - 130 (15 min) Step 2 - 158 (90 min) Step 3 - 172 (20 min) Sparge at 172 for 1.5 hour Boil - 00 minutes - add hops 75 minutes - add hops 85 minutes - add hops Cool Ferment in primary for 3-5 days secondary for additional 10 days Cask condition with 3/4 C of extract added to 1 pint of boiling water and cooled.
