American Beer Month Promotional Aids

Build Sales and Profits with Free American Beer Month Posters & Stickers
Brewers/Industry May 10, 2005
Written by Brewers Association

Boulder, COLORADO -

Beer wholesalers and retailers can build sales of American beers in July by promoting American Beer Month using colorful posters and stickers available at no charge from the Brewers Association.

“Brewers want to help all retailers profit from the sale of American beers during July,” said Ray Daniels, director of Craft Beer Marketing for the Brewers Association. “These colorful promotional materials draw attention in both on- and off-premise retail settings.”

Today, the majority of American beer brands are high-value craft beers that help retailers grow sales and profits, according to Daniels. “Sales of craft beers were up 7 percent in 2004 and they have started strong this year as well,” he said. “Best of all, this segment of the market is growing faster than either wine or spirits.”

The 11 x 17-inch posters and 2-inch diameter stickers display the American Beer Month logo in a red, white and blue motif that encourages beer drinkers to “Discover the Flavors of Independence.” Copies of these items can be ordered at the Brewers Association website at www.beertown.org/signup.html.

Based in Boulder, Colo., U.S.A., the Brewers Association (BA) is a not-for-profit trade and educational association for craft brewers.
