Dixen (1465), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 27, 2005 Draft @ Lord Nelson, Cph. Very fruity and floral nose, soft hoppyness. Very hazy orange brew with a thick off-white head. Smooth flavor, very fruity and spicy, good piney hop flavor, and ends in a pleasant bitterness. madsberg (4373), Bangalore, India Oct 12, 2005 Draught @ Lord Nelsen: Dark orange coloured. Unclear. Small dense beige head. Sweet, fruity, light herbs and spices in the nose. Flavour is very fruity and quite spiced. Light herbs and light chocolate is notable. Is medium bodied. Is a little flat in the end and has some sweet bitterness, which has a long lasting. Is quite easy to drink. Is fairly well without beeing great. These guys at Ølfabrikken is really doing a good job IMO. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 8, 2005 Draught at Lord Nelson.
Hazy orange coloured with a medium sized off white head.
Aroma of fruits, spices (especially coriander), malts and hops.
Fruity flavour with notes spices, malts, grass and hops.
Hoppy finish with spicy notes. Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 8, 2005 [Draft at Lord Nelson in Hyskenstræde] An unclear dark orange beer with a dense orange head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy leaning towards lemon. The flavor is sweet spicy - with hints of coriander and caraway seeds, but also contains notes of yeast, on a slightly lemony sour background (probably the hops). The end is very dry spicy and grassy. Jeppe (2636), Ølbutikken, Denmark Sep 16, 2005 Tasted from bottle. Pours unclear orange golden and a small head. Full, sweet and buttery in the aroma with lots of malt and some spicy notes in the background. Tones of orange. Sweet flavor as well, malty and buttery with obvious notes of coriander and flower. Tones of toffee. A bit on the sweet side, but tasty and interesting. The coriander suits this beer very well!
