Bottle 0.75 l. Bought super Best Hilleroed. Sweet malty (barley) aroma, with a sense of soil and grass. Amber brown colour with white/beige head. Low carbonation. Breadlike taste - pleasant mouthfeel, not that much hops. Would have expected something more extraordinary from Oelfabrikken.

Sep 4, 2008 Bottle at chris_o’s beat on the brat with a baseball bat tasting. Alround rating: An interesting take on a marzen, malty obviously, by very fruity and yeasty character, lager malts and some hints of herbal hop. Different marzen indeed.

Aug 12, 2008 Had this at Chris O’s pre GBBF tasting, 02-08-08 cheers for a wonderful day Chris Pours light amber in colour with a thin white head, some marzipan detected on nose. Some light boiled sweet and also a light numbing fizziness on tongue, nice body to it, I fall into the camp that enjoyed this.

An attractive clean amber colour with a thin white head. Fresh tea aroma with some slight notes of apple. Really not my thing. Thick and sweet malt driven flavour with a decent fruit and bready finish.
