pivnizub (3638), Porúří, Germany Apr 19, 2008 Bottle: Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured with an almost creamy beige head; moderate sweetish toasted-malty nose, backed by some dried fruits; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, quite soft MF; fruity (almost liquorice?) traces in the sweet and toasted finish, hops only detectable in the aftertaste. Well quaffable, reminds You a bit of a Porter or a Sweet Stout............

Light-sweet and slightly sourish fruity (dried prunes) nose with a slightly toasted malt-character and slightly woody and herbal hops in the background. Light-bitter flavour with a tinge of fruity acidity; medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly yeasty and toasted cara-malty taste with moderately fruity notes; quite dry, slightly bitter and toasty finish with a light but balancing hops character. Reddish amber colour with a little head. Sweet fruity aroma with notes of hops. Flavour of caramel, hops, ginger and ends up nice and dry. faroeviking (3955), Faroese Beer Republic union of, Denmark Mar 2, 2008 Bottle. Pale red-brownish colour. Sweet caramellic well toasted aroma with hops and some spice. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is soft with a comfortable sweetness, good toasted malt, nice hoppiness, slight chocolate and a bit of dark fruits. Bit dry bitter soft sweet finish.
