Bottle, 7%. Yeasty and roasted aroma, a little porter cardboard. Clear very dark brown colour. Fizzy, unstable head. The flavour is quite roasted, coffeeish malt notes. A little sweet and yeasty. The alcohol gives a good mouthfeel, but the carbonation is prickly and rough, needs to be shaken.

Jul 21, 2008 2008 bottle@ DTS. Caramel, licorice, peanut butter and cinnamon in the aroma. Sweet sugary flavor with hints of strawberry and peanut butter. There is nothing really much to compensate the sweetness, except some pear and maybe a bit of roast. Below Oelfabrikken average.

Jul 19, 2008 Dutch tasting session Bunnik. Bottled. Brown coloured, brown head. Malty nose, nutty with fruits, an aroma that is quite unique. Smooth flavour, liquorice, syrupy texture. Nice brew.

Jul 19, 2008 Bottle. Golden brown colour with thin beige head. Aroma and taste of roasted malts and a strange mixture of liqurice, caramel and smoked malts. A bit rauchbier mouthfeel and I would rather lick a dry stone, than taste this again.

Jul 19, 2008 Bottle@DTS. Aroma of butterscotch and peanutbutter. Very dark brown color, yellowish head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, peanut shells, butterscotch and orange peals. Very smooth. Quite complex not my kind of flavor.

Jun 5, 2008 Bottle. Dark amber colour with a huge creamy white head. Rich aroma and taste of sweet malts, fruits with roasted notes. Good beer.
