Corked bottle. Pours a cloudy deep orange colour with a medium mostly diminishing off-white creamish head. The aroma is sweet with ripe fruits, yeast, spice, some malt and hops. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a very good ripe frutiness with a nice bitterness, yeast, spices, some toasty malt and a mild alco touch. Dry fruity bit spiced finish. The best of the new Ølfabrikken beers I have tasted so far.

Bottle courtesy of Fonefan, drunk at Quinns, 26th April 2008 with Mes and reakt. Thanks for the birthday presents Mes! Hazy gold with a white head. Aroma and flavour of wheat, yeast and coriander. Lovely & soft on the tongue. A very drinkable Belgian-style beer.

Bottled. Pours out in a cloudy pale amber colour with a rich creamy white foam. Rounded aroma of coriander, oranges, yeast, herbs with lemony undertones. medium-bodied with strong notes of yeast, coriander, white pepper and orange-peels with sweet undertones of dough and crackers. Spicy and rather dry finish of pepper, coriander and orange-peels with biscuity undertones.

A Mes rate: bottle thanks to FoneFan drunk at Quinns for Casper’s birthday.
Amazed this is rated so low, we all really enjoyed it. Good looking hazy blonde with a good white head and lace. Gets more and more cloudy with each pour until the last bit is totally opaque. Aroma of orange, coriander, good sweet yeasty notes and all round rather bloody good. Lovely perfumey tangerine flavour with some slight spice. An excellent Belgian style beer. So amazingly drinkable I had almost finished it before I had done my appearance notes. Great stuff. Big thanks to the very generous Jan and Charlotte.
