Jeppe (2634), Ølbutikken, Denmark Dec 20, 2006 Pours a foamy tan head on an unclear dark amber body. Sweet malt aroma with a touch of toffee and grass. Flavor of malt, some hop, a bit of spices and a herby note. Rather dry on the tongue with a harsh feel. Watery finish. Not bad, but what can you expect from less than 3% ;-)

An almost clear, brown beer with a small, off-white head. Quite weak aroma with some roasted malt and caramel. Weak on the flavor too, even for a mild, with caramel, roasted malt, a little bitterness, and some cooked vegetables. Roasted finish with a little bitterness. Medium body. A rather boring beer, at least if you’re only having one, but I guess it would be boring as a session beer too. (080411) KimJohansen (2302), Copenhagen V, Denmark May 4, 2008 Deep amber with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with notes of roasted malt, grain and bread. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, rye bread and light smokey notes.
