Flavour of malts, grain, fruits and hops. sk8viking (6078), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 8, 2006 Bottle. Golden colour with a medium white head. Malty, hoppy aroma and a sweet malty, hoppy taste. Medium body with a dry finish. CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Nov 3, 2007 Pours a transparent lightly effervescent golden with a thin, spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of semi-sweet pale malt with a decent balance of fresh, grassy Saaz hops. Body starts with a pleasant mild pale malty sweetness along with some earthy bittering hops towad a crisp, very drinkable finish. A decent pils. muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Apr 2, 2008 500 ml bottle from Richmond Beverage in Richmond, VT (April 2008) served a few minutes out of the fridge from a Christoffel glass. Minimal white head dies quickly atop pale amber-gold body....fairly sweet aroma, decent malt base evident, very faint light grassy hops grow a little bit with warmth....body is on the sweet side also, not really crisp or dry enough and the hops just aren’t there; there’s also a hint of staleness and some cigarette ashiness, but with no visible date on the bottle, how am I to know how long it took to get here? Quite mediocre, but drinkable overall..
