Draught. Deep amber colour, huge brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel and some toffee. Flavour is mildly roasted malts, caramel, toffee as well as mild coffeeish notes. A very pleasant brew.

Roasty/toasty aroma with some dark malt and bubblegum coffee. Hazy dark brown with lacy, tan foam. Flavour=coffee, gingerbread, roasty vanilla, nice malt that is in balance with a medium bitterness. Medium to full body, chewy, lasting dark malt bitterness.

Aug 15, 2008 Hazy and dark brown beer with a firm off-white head. Deep aroma of licorice, with some grainy malt notes. Dryish burnt caramel flavour with licorice, and a hoppy finish.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/28/08) Draught at a blind tasting at Modrý Abbé in Klatovy. Dark brown to black color with a medium, rather creamy, brown head. Aroma of roastiness and nice coffee notes. Sweet flavor at first with nice roasted malt, coffee and light notes of chocolate. Finishes rather dry. Medium-bodied.

A very good, spicy Dunkel from Böhmisch-Eisenstein..............
