(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, but not very persistent foamy, almost white head. Sweet (and a bit sugary) biscuity malt aroma with faint notes of hops in the background. Sweet and faint bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Malt-accented taste with light to moderate herbal notes on the palate; medium-dry sweet-bitter finish with a rather disappointing hops-character. Run of the HILL Bohemian Pilsener.

Pours clear golden with a fine, medium, creamy, white head. Fine duration and light lacing. Mild aroma, some grass, apple and sweet malts. Okay mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Flavour is crisp malty, a bit of green apple and a clear, defining, hoppy bitterness to finish it off. Good one.

Jul 3, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour with mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is malty, slight fruityness along with some grass and slightly bread-doughy notes. Flavour is quite sweet malts along with some slight fruity notes. The end is grassy and quite mouthdrying.

Full mouth feel, grain, malt, bread.
Complex stuff. I would have liked more bitterness, but it is very fine as it is..
Lingering bittersweet finish, peppery.

How: Tap at Kralovstvi, Prague
The look: Clear golden body with a medium white head
To me a typical Czech Světlý 12° and above is: Well malted body with plenty of biscuits and cereals. Sweetness level is in the light-medium range with some honey flavours and a light caramel presence (3/4 honey, 1/4 caramel). Fruity flavour limited to a light citrus flavour. Medium carbonation. Finish is dry and moderately bitter with a light citric touch. After-taste of dry grassy/herbal hops with a light dry spiciness character.
This one: As above, very typical and average for the style.

Présence d’un large col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goűt de céréale et d’houblon. Durée moyenne de l’arričre goűt. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture aqueuse.
