It was even worth a roadtrip or two. Smooth with a very nice color. A fine ale for a US macro Sammys (428), Portland, Maine, USA

Had a light color, but a moderately hoppy nose and taste, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Its a couple notches down from say, Sam Adams Boston Ale, but not bad for 80 cents. ravidesai (915), Bombay, India

A bland and somewhat sweet cream ale.

Has that classic Genny carbonation and is probably their best effort. Decent beer though being from Rochester, I am a bit biased. NeroFiddled (105), Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma is nice with some sweet malt and (gasp) some hops! The flavor follow the aroma almost exactly, although the hops seem to be a little bit lost. Creamy, with a nice body. Not overly sweet. Somewhat more exciting than your standard American-style lager. Bierlieber (49), Evanston, Illinois, USA

I remember how much I liked this in high school.......(er college I mean) after thinking Miller was what beer was supposed to taste like. Granted using another macro as a barometer is a flawed start, I remember this actually had taste. 20 years later? Wouldn’t touch it or any non-craft brew. GTown (126), New York, USA
