A nice beer. The full aroma has roasted malt. Light coffee and smoke in the flavor, but it is a strange, woody smoke with a unique aroma I am not familiar with. Medium palate. Good. Thanks Stine.

Courtesy of Stine. Brown color with a medium head. Oddly salty aroma. Roasty malt flavor with a very unexpected hit of wood, smoke and a bit of cinnamon. Very nice surprise!

From a 10-oz bottle supplied by Stine, pours a cloudy dark brown brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film and ring. Aroma of roasted dark malt and nuts, artifically infused smoke with some stale coffee. Taste is medium bodied, carbonated with some smoke wood with a light coffee flavor. Finish is slightly metalic with a light coffee aftertaste. Interesting brew but quite light for a stout caliper beverage.

Light brown color with a faint head. Faint smoke aroma with a grain character. Light wood and smoke in the body with an interesting mouthfeel.

Thanks to Stine for sharing. Pours a nice smokey burnt black. Tobacco like smokeyness on the nose, with nice toasty sweet malt and a weird almost medicinal tinge. Odd oaky flavor with hints of smoke, smoked meats, ripe fruit. Very cool, and unique.
