Comments: Ridiculously low ratings I find. Beautifully hopped with saaz aplenty. Fully aromatic. Excellent texture, natural and engaging carbonation. Full-bodied, yet crisp – few brewers manage that. Brilliant, yet this nice brewpub can do even better.
Theis (2208), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 16, 2008 Draught (as St. Steffl Pils) at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow - white head. Citrus, orange, white bread, light freshness, grainy, needs some crispyness. thewolf (3959), Kolding, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Tap @ 1516 Brewing Company, Vienna.
as ’Steffl Pils’
Pours hazy yellow-golden with a fine, creamy white head. Fine duration. Mild malty aroma, some doughy notes and a little hay. Low carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is crisp, nicely hopped with notes of hay, flowers and grass. Nice malty sweetness. Okay pilsner. Mette (145), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 30, 2008 Fad på brewpubben. Gul som tis med lille hvidt skum, let skyet.
Duften er syrlig og citrus, korn og lidt sur karklud. Smagen er brød og korn.
let humlet og nærmest flad.
Geiserich (1540), Vienna, Austria Sep 30, 2007 Draught@brewpub, Vienna: Pale yellow color, huge creamy head. Fruity, flowerly hop flavor. Dry, light bitter end. Flowerly hop aroma, light malty and light sweet. Nice, flowerly pils.
