Kings Head, East Hoathy - with joet. Malty. Oaky. Fruity. Caramel. Musky. A pleasant darkish malty beer with a violet rub of hops. Some rough edges. Possibly a bit old. A beer to chat about - probably a little too interesting. The sum of the good parts and the bad parts add up to something quite average. The words homebrew and could do better myself spring to mind - however unfairly.

Cask@The Evening Star, Brighton. Nothing too exciting, but pretty solid. Some slaty caramel, sherry like flavours, ith a light touch of kiwi fruit (from the hops i’m guessing). Quite subtle, nice, pleasant.
