The top half is light and champagne-like; the bottom half has a fruity taste and looks... well, like semen. I’d go out of my way for the top half of a bottle. Not so much the bottom half. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of lemons, banana, spice and a touch of bubble gum - nice! Light-bodied; Mild malty flavour from wheat and citrus with a touch of spice, some yeast and more banana flavours than in the smell. Aftertaste shows a nice mellow finish with some light alcohol, a dose of yeast and more mellow wheat characteristics. Overall, a pretty nice beer - definitely shows well in the summer heat, but the character complexity really comes out! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased from German Gourmet in Falls Church, Virginia, sampled on 07-August-2009 at home in Washingotn. thirdeye11 (520), Texas, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 30, 2009 ( 500ml bottle) pours a cloudy yellow, great head. Nose is sweet, sour, with spices, and some tarness. The taste is very tart in a great way, lemon zest, very carbonated with a nice light body and a very easy drinking beer. Nothing here disappointed. Like a sour without being overly so! AmEricanbrew (1808), Doing Rogue, Louisiana, USA
