BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Sep 4, 2007 Thanks to joebrew for sharing. Cloudy lemonade color with white head. Wheat and citrus and banana on the nose. Faint cloves as well. Light tart flavor. Light wheaty body. emacgee (1859), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Sep 3, 2007 Pours a hazy pale yellow with a thick white creamy head. Man this thing has monster carbonation. Looks like a storm inside the glass. The aroma is sour, wheaty, tart apples, yeasty. Mmmm mmmm. Tastes very tart, like sour apples, has a sour acidic and wheaty, shares definite similarities to other wheat beers but allows itself to stand out in a great way. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA Sep 1, 2007 Available at the Cellar’s Lex/Larp. pours a super cloudy straw like deep yellow, with a massive creamy white head. Nice biscuity sweet malt as well as some citrus rind and banana. Super tart lemony sweetness with a great creamy body that almost finishes with a wine like acidity. mkobes (2103), paramus, New Jersey, USA Sep 1, 2007 Bottle. Clear golden in color with no head. Malty and fruity aroma. Banana yeasty notes. Sour fruity yeasty flavor. Hoppy and citrusy. Finish is crisp. Ok beer. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Sep 1, 2007 Bottle. Head quickly collapses on top of a cloudy orange body. Aroma is more malty than tart. You can clearly taste the banana like yeast of Weihenstephan. Theres some sour (sour may be a reach) orange flavor but this doesn’t resemble any berliner weiss I’ve ever had. Just too sewwt for me. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/05/2007

aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Aug 31, 2007 Very interesting fruitiness. There’s something there reminiscent of a lambic, but mostly, it’s just the hefe fruit. There’s a green apple and lime tartness in the finish of this one. Not full on sourness, though. Almost a hint of mint in the aroma. Right now, it’s nicely balanced with a good wheat backbone. Very cloudy pour. gunhaver (1024), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 30, 2007 Updated: Jun 5, 2008Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow pour, with a quickly diminishing head. Aroma is very spicy, with some banana and coriander in there. Sour taste, nothing crazy, but it’s sour. Citrus, coconut, coriander, zest. Warm, carbonated, and drinkable. It’s good.
