| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 13, 2007 Pours a cloudy golden color with a white head. Aroma is of hay, floral hops, lemon, banana, and yeast. Sour taste up front with lemon and banana that finishes with the hay and floral hops. Much better then I was expecting with this one. I’m glad I picked this one up. merlin48 (511), New Tazewell, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Hazy light yellow body supports a rapidly diminishing white head. Sour lactic notes in the aroma with green appleas and green bananas. Light body with a crisp carbonation and acidic bite. Tasrt green apples and sour lemon drops blend with some wheat in the taste. Seems like a distant cousin to the Flanders red style with the acidic flavors. Very nice! BBB63 (4228), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Thank Tom for the bottle: Pours a clean golden hue with a lasting fizzy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of wheat and pale malt, moderate sour apple, hint of banana ester, some funk and wood as well. The taste is much more reserved that I would have thought. The sourness is there but hardly palate crushing as I would have initially guessed. A nice interplay of sour, bitter, and wheat along the ride. This is quite the refreshing and spritzy summer brew. A solid offering but I really did want more teeth grinding pucker power than this did provide. kwoeltje (1315), Manchester, Missouri, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 7, 2007 yellow pour big white head. Aroma of wheat and lemon. Flavor is very citrusy lots of lemon, a crisp tartness hits with lots of belgian yeast notes, and an almost sprite like finish. Some light banana notes as well, but mainly lemon, and yeast. A great thirst quencher. CaptainCougar (5405), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Pours an effervescent bright golden with an airy, spotty-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of lightly sweet wheat, some grass and a hint of tart lemon and earthy citrus along with a touch of funk. Body starts fairly full for the style, semi-sweet and sticky with a nicely balanced fresh lemongrass tang. Finishes semi-dry and tart with mild bitterness and clove. A very nice Berliner Weisse.
