Snojerk321 (1914), San Diego, California, USA Apr 1, 2009 Bottle from South Bay Drugs. Pours a mostly clear gold with a good sized white head. Aroma is slightly funky with some lemon peel, wheat and yeast. Flavor is tart citrus with a crisp finish, very lively carbonation. Pawola22 (676), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Mar 31, 2009 1 pint .9 fl oz bottle. Pours a cloudy, yellow-gold body with a big, bubbly and fizzy, pure white head that dissipates quickly and surprisingly leaves no lacing. Very pretty at first, but almost looks like piss after the head fades. Disappointing. Aroma is initially wheat and lemons. Some other sweet fruits show up after a few sniffs such as cherries and lime. Lots of sweet tart citrus. Slightly yeasty. Flavor is very bright, sour citrus. Wheat and honey too. Some of the cherry shows up in there as well as the Sprite-like lemon-lime. Palate is light and very fizzy. Not a whole lot of aftertasate. Overall, a very tart beer. Almost drinks like a soda. Not a bad flavor, just not really my style. Too fizzy and acidic. Interesting to say the least... SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Mar 29, 2009 provided by lil pedro .. . light yeastiness, honey and dough are in the nose .. . real fizzy on the tongue but not that carbonated .. nice stuff .. refreshing .. could use the syrup .. glad to try it!! jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Mar 22, 2009 Bottle from Red, White and Brew in Mt. Holly, NJ. Pours a cloudy yellow body with large, white, foamy head. Aroma is banana and spice. Taste is sharp and refreshing with a small note of tart. Flavor also has some wheat and malt, nice carbonated mouth feel adds to an inviting palate. Hophead22 (1056), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA Mar 22, 2009 500ml bottle. Hazy straw color, little white head. Citrusy dry aroma, a little banana maybe as well. Very dry, slight tartness, very smooth finish with vey little aftertaste. TheCaptain (526), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 19, 2009 Bottle- Nice gold pour with small head which fizzed down fairly quick. Good carbonation, thin lacing. Lemon/citrus tartness that was balanced by the wheat malt, good mouth feel. For the style I would say very good, another I would look for again and cellar. Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Mar 19, 2009 Poured hazy yellow with white head. Aroma of citrus mainly lemon with some orange. Big citrus flavor that was rather refreshing. Petrucci914 (574), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Mar 14, 2009 Pours a hazy straw color with a thin white head - I got the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is yeasty, with some slight sour and tart characteristics. Flavor is much the same. I was hoping that it would be a bit more tart and dryer.
