Man this thing has monster carbonation. Looks like a storm inside the glass. The aroma is sour, wheaty, tart apples, yeasty. Mmmm mmmm. Tastes very tart, like sour apples, has a sour acidic and wheaty, shares definite similarities to other wheat beers but allows itself to stand out in a great way. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours hazy yellow /pale golden with a decent size white head. Aroma of wheat, tart fruit, and citrus. The flavor is tart, citrus, fruit, wheat, refreshing. I don’t really care for the style, but this brew was great for a berliner weisse. marcus (1880), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 15, 2009 This bubbly golden beer poured with a decent off-white head and a yeasty aroma. There is a sweet wheat flavor with a typical sourish finish. It’s very fruity and tasty. AmEricanbrew (1880), Washington DC, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Hazy golden with a lingering white head. Lightly tart aroma with a mild grainy malt sweetness. Light/medium bodied. Good flavors of bready light wheat malts, with lightly tart apple skin, then a mild pit fruit sweetness to finish. iowaherkeye (1860), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2007 500mL, no date, though I think this is a relatively new beer, so I’ll say 2007. Looks kinad like a wit--cloudy straw with a one finger fading white head. Smells like a hefe with more pronounced lemon and plain sourness, a bit musty. There is a light bitter character that I can’t place. Zowee! Pretty tart up front with some old yeast towards the finish. In between I got some herbal hay, very light bananas, lemon, and something stale. Moderate carbonation with a light to medium body, leaning towards lighter. This definitely grows on you by the end of the bottle. It’s hard to get used to this style, but this is definitely a very good effort. Refreshing, but not something I could drink everyday. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 7, 2007 Pours a hazy, pale gold with a bubbly, thin white head. Like a lemon tart color. Aroma is quite unusual. Smells like funked out lemons, hints of wheat and acidity. A little grapefruit and other citrus as well. I didnt know what to expect in the taste, with the aromas. Taste was unique, a little sour and acidic, but nothing too striking. Fairly light bodied, a little sour, which masked alot of the wheat characters. I guess lemon would be the most dominating fruit presence in this beer. Aftertase was kind of bland, coats the sides of the mouth with the lemon funk. This was my first Berliner Weisse and I’m anxious to get a comparison. Overall I htought it was pretty decent. CharlesDarwin (1848), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 17, 2008 500ml Bottle. A very fresh, fragrant and floral aroma. Coarsely crushed white pepper mingles with orchid blossom. Musky dragonfruit and lychee blow through. Spring breezes elicit warm bread. Nice. Pours a well hazed straw-bale tinted gold. Light opalescence and a dirty tinge. Rim in clean, sparse, fast-fading rocky white. Flavor is luxurious. A peppery, bright blend of soft wheat sugars, snappy bog-like tang, and crisp French bread crust. Nice balance all around. White table grapes fuse with plum sugars and quite fresh doughy bread to create a real interesting blend. Lactic tang is rather minimal but present, giving it a delicious, curt acidity that keeps it refreshing and clean. Not amazingly complex. Fresh, lively and well-built. A nice rendition. thegreenrooster (1841), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 24, 2007 Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is faint citrus and maybe a little banana. Flavor is super citrus and tart with some sour apple. A different style of beer and not one that I would go looking to find all the time but it is a good summer refresher.
