Good carbonation, thin lacing. Lemon/citrus tartness that was balanced by the wheat malt, good mouth feel. For the style I would say very good, another I would look for again and cellar. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 14, 2009 Pours a crystal clear yellow, very high carbonation and a dense bubbly white head that fades down fairly quickly. Aroma has a very light acidic sourness to it, not as much as I expected, with a green apple/white grape sweetness, light hay note, cheesy and farmhouse scent finish it out. Flavor starts off with a light sweet grape and mild lemon citric acid flavor but quickly moves into a sour, wet straw and farmhouse flavor with a refreshing tartness to the finish. Brew ends with a very dry, tongue puckering/numbing feeling. Density is perfectly light but heavy enough to carry the wide array of flavors for the entire tasting. Beer has a high effervescent feel with its high carbonation. I was expecting something way more soured and acidic for this styling. Overall a very good brew with a very wide range of flavors that fade into one another and work superbly. FunkyBrewster (532), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Flavor starts very fruity, crisp, cidery dry and sharp. a bit champagne like in the finish, dry and crisp. Medium body and a sharp but non obtrusive carbonation. Really interesting beer, complex but drinkable. j12601 (1357), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
