| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of lemons, banana, spice and a touch of bubble gum - nice! Light-bodied; Mild malty flavour from wheat and citrus with a touch of spice, some yeast and more banana flavours than in the smell. Aftertaste shows a nice mellow finish with some light alcohol, a dose of yeast and more mellow wheat characteristics. Overall, a pretty nice beer - definitely shows well in the summer heat, but the character complexity really comes out! Cloudy gold with short lasting head. High in lactic acid flavours, it is sharp, lemony and tangy with a lingering sourness. Soft fruit and acidic apples also noted in the flavour a challenging and interesting beer. Good stuff. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 14, 2007 22 oz bottle. Pours very carbonated with a huge fluffy white head. Only got 1/2 bottle on the first pour. Nose of lemon, tartness, highly acidic and very sharp. Unique. Color is generic yellow. Taste of lemon, pucker, tartness, wheat is not evident. Better nose than taste so ultimately dissapointing. Great beer for a hot humid Houston summer. Wish that I could find it here. Bockyhorsey (2546), Mesa, Arizona, USA

Flavor is crisp and has a sour tart bite to start with. Sourness subsides for a tart dryness on the finish. Dry palate and good old fashioned beer belch to boot. Decent brew.
