| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2006 Draft. Brown/black beer with a creamy beige nitro head. Light roast/coffee aroma. Light roast/toffee/coffee/caramel malt flavor that lingers. Just a bit of bitterness. Medium bodied. The flavor is just a bit too light for me. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA

Light, mainly chocolatey character with just a light hint of roast. Smooth and creamy. The malts legitimize the nitrogen. Well-balanced. omhper (12298), Stockholm, Sweden

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 9, 2004 Tap. You know how much poker I’ve been playing in the past few months? So much that when I see "563", the first thought is "Man, that hand is gonna be a real uphill climb if you raised pre-flop in an early position with AK" Opaque black, lasting beige head. Exceptionally rich, nice, coffee-dominated aroma. Nice! The flavor carries the roasty coffe, but the mouthfeel is just too plain thin to make this a legendary beer despite its other good points. jazz88 (2238), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 9, 2003 Tap. Black with a creamy tan head. Nitro pushed. A roasted coffee aroma with a smooth creamy palate. A little thin, but what can you expect from a 4% abv stout. Andrew196 (1091), Katy, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 18, 2003 This stout was very thin and dry to me. The thinness really took away from the flavor that it was trying to convey. Not a bad beer, but nothing special at all....unoriginal.
