beerguy101 (3473), Newark, California, USA Aug 4, 2007 Tasted on tap at the 2nd Annual Drakes IPA Festival. Pours an orange gold color from tap. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and earthy, the aroma last a little longer in this one. Medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are floral, earthy and citrusy. Lots of orange flavors in this one. A little less bitter and a little more fruity. Nice balance. Very smooth. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
KrausenJockey (329), Stockton, California, USA Aug 7, 2007 Drakes IPA single hop festival. Nice yellow-orange color with a decent creamy head. Some aromas of mint and spicy pepper. Nice malt level compliments the hop well. One of my favorites from the festival. Davecooks (1142), Bay Area, California, USA Jul 24, 2007 Draft. Clear, yellow with a white head. Somewhat fruity aroma with subtle hope notes. Bitter with some grassiness and tons of grapefruit and pine. Clean bitter finish.
