| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2009 12 oz can from Oak Tree. Poured a rather thin looking orange amber with an awesome huge frothy sticky off white head, would of rated higher but the body looked just too thin and watery. Aroma was sort of all over the place that started off with lots of dusty caramel notes and old citrus fruit that gives way to a much more pleasant hop juiceness. Palate is slightly thin on the initial flavor but actually seems thicker once you swallow and finishes dry and very bitter, not bad. Flavor of crackers, oranges, slight chocolate, a touch of citrus rind and some toffee. Solid beer but either it’s overrated or I have an older can. beerbill (1973), Laurel, New York, USA

Pleasant aroma of resinous pine and malt. The flavor is malt up front followed by strong pine with a medium resinous quality. Somewhat sweet. Strong bite at the finish. Its nice to see good beer in a can! yespr (12406), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Had this alongside the Union Jack brothers, and it as the most drinkable of the three though perhaps not the best (if that makes any sense). Nice citric flavors, easy to drink. When did US session beers top 7%?
