Can... Poured amberish/orange with a big, frothy white head. Big floral punch of hops on the nose with a crisp grain character. Really well balanced and with a soft palate that didn’t assault the taste buds -- not that I have problem with beers like that ; ) -- Refreshing hops and a malty sweet, bready finish. Very enjoyable.

Can. Thanks Greg. Pours a goldish orange with aromas that are thick with caramel and metal with a little spruce. Flavor is malt heavy with a weak and unconvincing hops presence. Meh.

Can from Craft. Pours hazy orange with 2-finger fluffy white head and great lacing. Nose is hugr citrus, hops, tangerine, pineapple, black pepper. Tastes crisp, citric, hoppy, with heavy black pepper, trop fruit, and a very well balancerd and delicious taste and palate that leaves you wanting to chug the one you have and crack another. Good thing i bought a case!

Location: Had a pint of this on tap at the Ginger Man in NYC, 6/27/09

Aroma: Citrusy hops aroma, a touch of caramel
Appearance: Clearish orange-gold color, small white head
Flavor: Light but good flavor, mostly just light and citrusy hops, some sweet malts in the backing as well for balance
Palate: A nice, but light palate, call it light-medium bodied, and crisp
Overall Impression: Didn’t realize this was normally a canned beer, I’ve not really seen a lot of beers from these guys around my area in stores. I thought it was pretty tasty on draft though, a nice IPA, my criticism would be that it is a touch toned town, but everything else was pretty good.

Hearty malt backbone - a little cracker grain upfront - with full caramel character and subtle toffee notes. Full creamy mouthfeel. Impressive hop components with strong citrus accented by light pine and a grassy note. A little watery on the finish. Upgraded aroma from 7 to 9 - near perfection IPA nose. Update 7/15/09 - Glad I picked up the sixer of this; More lemon citrus prominent up front than previously detected.

As far as canned beer goes this is a pretty good one. I believe in saving the planet and all that, but beer or ale just doesn’t belong in a can, sorry. That being said this IPA is appropriate for situations where bottles are a problem such as camping, backpacking etc. Overall not a bad IPA. I’d like to taste it on tap or from a bottle.

On Tap. Pours a golden orange color with a white head, dissipates pretty quickly. Aroma is citrus hops, not too overpowering - mellow, a nice balance between hops and malts. A much better entry than the other beer I’ve had from 21st Amendment (Hell or High Watermelon Wheat).
