| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2009 Appearance: Pours a rather hazy, orange-hued body with a small, white head.
Smell: Particularly pungent nose of citrusy, fruity hops ahead of the pale malts and lesser waft of wildflower honey.
Taste: Faintly bready malts with a honeyish sweetness present. Richly fruity blend of hop flavors, notably tangerine, citric grapefruit, pineapple, and even the noble lemon with a medium-high, earthy bitterness. Finishes reasonably dry with a lasting bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: A pleasant, well-balanced IPA. I would cheerfully have another. ajm (965), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Can from BevMo Van Nuys. Dark nose with tangy hop presence. Flavor indeed boasts a thick malt backbone - very English. A couple clicks up and this totally becomes a Barley Wine - absolutely has that barely-balanced maltiness. Quite nice. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Can from DoBoy. Big white head over a a yellow gold body, good lace. One of thelightest colored IPA’s that I’ve seen. Toffe, spruce,a dn a big dose of grapefruit consitute the hallmark West Coast aroma. Medium body and carbonation, quite resinous, dry palate. Bitter from the start, with some malt sweetness fighting for recognition, and utlimately achieving a good balance. A good, solid, drinkable IPA. Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Sampled at the KLCC microbrew fest. Nice dark gold pour with a small white head. Huge hop aroma, pine and grapefruit citrus both but much more balanced in the mouth with a nice malt backbone under those tasty hops. Not a bad brew by any standards and certainly far superior to the other one of theirs I had at the same event. glkaiser (1173), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 11, 2009 I love pouring good beer from a can. Thanks to someone from my fantasty football league. More bready/caramel malts than your average IPA. Buttery. Light pine hop flavor with minimal bitterness. For those that like a very balanced IPA, this one is for you. For me, overly balanced to the malt. Blah. Makes me wonder how old my can was? anders37 (4792), Malmö, Sweden

Aroma is of hops, lots of hops, some pine, with some caramel malts.
Flavor has a light bitter feel all the way through. Not a bad IPA - not that bitter which is good for someone like me.
Medium mouth feel with light carbonation. ekstedt (2456), Göteborg, Sweden
