Aroma is not over the top like most IPAs, but is rather subdued, and very pleasantly so. Good mix of IPA notes in the aroma as well...pine, citrus (grapefruit) and flowery hops are all there. Flavor is also above-average...resinous hops abound with some lemony and citrus flavors as well...and there’s a decent malt backbone to keep things in order. Slightly watery on the palate, but it almost seems appropriate to have an IPA from a can a bit watery and very easy to drink. Fairly impressed by this offering...better malt backbone than is found in most ’single’ IPAs slimchill (781), Austin, Texas, USA
