Pours a deep, hazy copper-orange color; very light tan head, fluffy, with excellent retention, mixed-bubbled lacing; a lot of texture on the top. Huge, juicy, citrus hop aroma: not oranges or lemons, this one shows huge pineapple and grapefruit notes, lime, along with a bit of tangy citrus tartness present from the beginning; a beautiful, very lively aroma; like living in a pink grapefruit. Lively, spritzy in the mouth; plenty of effervescence without being sharp; juicy, generous orange and pink grapefruit bitterness carries things here: lightly oily, very tangy and alive, this tastes like it came straight out of the fermenter; lots of tongue-numbing hops at the front; a delightfully fresh IPA with a nicely dry core; very very impressed by this. If anything, too forward with the pink grapefruit hoppiness - it treads that line. Long-lasting finish of grapefruit, orange bitterness, with a nicely toasty end.

Nose of grassy and slight citrus hops, tastes of grassy and citrusy hops as well with a little bitter on the end. Overall a decent session, not amazingly strong in any flavor. lamas (728), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 16, 2009 Can. Slightly different label than that in the picture. Mine says 7.0% ABV. Pours a hazy, pale rust color with a thick light-tan head that leaves rings of lacing. An aroma of oranges, rinds, grapefruits, and pine. A pleasing smell that isn’t overly harsh. The taste is equally pleasant. A decent-enough malty backbone with a hoppy side that leans more toward juicy oranges and tangerines rather than bitter grapefruitiness. Thin to medium-bodied and very drinkable. BREWMUSKCLES (1084), New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 13, 2009 hop and malt aroma. nice straw and complex hop flavor that still isnt overdone. brew is light amber with a creamy appearance particularly to the white head, though it does not come off that way too much in the mouthfeel which is only a bit slick and soft. just a nice malty and hoppy brew with character. the alcohol is not apparant and there is a moderately lasting bitterness that is a touch chalky. me like! | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Can @ J.C.G. Pours amber orange with a small creamy lasting head and lacings. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2009 [Can] Pours hazy gold with a finger of off white head. Aroma is citric hops - lots of amarillo, grapefruit, orange, a hint of metal, and almost no evidence of maltiness. Flavor is pretty much the same, with that metallic note lingering into the finish. I wonder how fresh this beer is, the hop flavor seems a bit mellow. Even so, the beer is well balanced and not harshly bitter.
