Clean malty aroma. Bready slightly fruity taste. AgentSteve (1334), SF Bay Area, California, USA Aug 10, 2009 Pours effervescent pale golden with a thin white head. Clean, dry hops and bready malt in the nose and flavor. Quite easy drinking and enjoyable. SamGamgee (1396), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA Aug 9, 2009 Draught at the brewpub, served in a seven ounce kölsch glass. Pretty cool that they put it in the smaller glass and charge half price, as it keeps a cold beer in front of you more of the time. Not that they invented that concept, but not very many brewpubs put that much thought into their glassware selection. Light gold with a white head. The aroma is sweet and grainy with light floral touches and some bread. Light on the palate with some bready malt, delicate floral hops and a crisp, clean finish. Pretty spot-on for what i always think of the style as. Interesting enough to drink a few, and light enough to not tire you in the process. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 30, 2009 On tap.
