On tap. Clear yellow with a a small, creamy white head leaving laces. Clean malty nose. Medium body with clean malts, some sulphur and a dry, hoppy finish. 100709

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry malty with a crisp hops note. Subdued malt sweetness. Ends dry and crisp bitter/hoppy. Very authentic.

Draft. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light malt, light hay, and light spice aroma. Light malt and light hay flavor with a light mineral note. Medium bodied. Easy drinking. Malt lingers and fades to mineral and grass notes.

Clear bright yellow with a fizzy white head. Clean malty aroma. Bready slightly fruity taste.

I had this on draft at 21st Amendment. It was clear, yellow and fairly hoppy for a koelsch.

On tap at Toronado. This dark yellow beer poured with a modest white head and a floral aroma. There is a carbonated wheat flavor with heavy bitterness at the finish.

Draught at the brewpub, served in a seven ounce kölsch glass. Pretty cool that they put it in the smaller glass and charge half price, as it keeps a cold beer in front of you more of the time. Not that they invented that concept, but not very many brewpubs put that much thought into their glassware selection. Light gold with a white head. The aroma is sweet and grainy with light floral touches and some bread. Light on the palate with some bready malt, delicate floral hops and a crisp, clean finish. Pretty spot-on for what i always think of the style as. Interesting enough to drink a few, and light enough to not tire you in the process.
