21st Amendment Diesel Imperial Smoked Porter

Tulip at brewery - Aroma is roasty/burnt dark malts and smoke. Pours bloack with a small head and good lacing. Flavor is a much stronger version of aroma with tons of smoke that reminds me of charcoal and crispy steak fat. Palate is sticky and ashy. Different and really good if you like smoked beer (which I do).

Draft. Dark brown with a light tan head. Roasted malt and smoke aroma. Musty and astringent Rauchbier like smoke flavor.

Draft. Dark blackish beer with a thin beige head. Low smoky aroma. Earthy, smoky flavor with some malt - not as bacon like as some, but there is a bacon-like component. Fuller bodied. Lingering smoke. Nice.
