On tap at brewpub. Half pint. Light pine and spicy peppery hops present in the nose. Decent amount of modestly sweet malts present, too. Moderately hazy amber body with a small, fleeting off-white head. Peaty maltiness to start, becoming a little sweeter and toffee-like in the middle. Finishes with a nice spicy hop kick. A little cold and a bit too carbonated. Tasty, though. This would be killer on a hand pump.

On tap at 21st Amendment, June 2007. Deep mahogany with an off-white head. Rich caramel toffee in the nose with PacNW hop character. Rich, malty toffee flavor with loads of bittering, resinous, piney, grapefruity hops. Somewhat reminescent of Arrogant Bastard. A sliight tinge of roast in there too. Full and round body with fine-beaded carbonation. Nice beer.

Had on tap at brew pub. I LOVE Reds and this one was right up my alley. This was my favorite beer of theirs. Very sweet malts up front, some pine and wood taste, and just a slight bitter finish. Very delightful indeed!

On tap @ 21st Amendment poured a clear dark reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of pine, carmel and light citrus. Palate was medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, pine and a hint of orange with a lingering bitter finish.

Tap. A reddish-brown color with a tan head. Nice hop profile. Slightly sweet malts and caramel with a crisp bitter finish. Medium bodied and smooth.
